Pat Gooley, MSW, LCSW is a therapist and clinical manager at Life Matters.  He has been a member of the Life Matters team since 2008 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the field.  Pat specializes in working with adolescents and adults.  He provides trauma informed care, domestic violence assessment and treatment, court ordered treatment for juveniles, NOJOS levels I, II, as well as general mental health treatment integrated with the Exodus medical clinic staff in order to provide complete personal care for clients.  He works closely with our Exodus medical partners, medication management provider and community health/education/employment/legal providers to ensure clients attain measurable improvements in their lives. Pat is on most major insurance panels.  He sees clients at the West Valley City office and also sees clients in the Wasatch Back on a case by case basis.

Pat is a father and husband who understands the rigors and obstacles of daily life and the value of self care.  He provides a therapeutic approach that blends evidence based skills with realistic methods to apply those skills in every day situations, with understanding and empathy for how this can sometimes be easier said than done.  Pat is an enthusiastic outdoorsman and regularly pursues adventures in the mountains, canyons, lakes rivers and deserts of Utah.  Pat’s lifestyle is reflected in his work with clients.
