Rebecca Kendrick, CSW, is a therapist who has a passion for working with children and women who have experienced trauma. She is dedicated to women’s issues and empowerment, and employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as DBT, ACT and CBT to help adults discover values and belief systems as motivation for lasting change. Rebecca has spent much of her clinical time specializing in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with children and treatment of anxiety and depression in adults who have experienced trauma.
Rebecca went back to school at the University of Utah to get a Master’s in Social Work after working with children and families in child welfare for many years. She completed internships at LifeMatters Counseling and Health Center and at Primary Children’s Safe and Healthy Families.
Rebecca is a three-time cancer survivor and feels fortunate to be alive and to have had those experiential perspectives. She is originally from Idaho and loves being in the mountains, playing cards with family and friends, and playing the piano, mandolin and guitar.
